Ok I know that I just posted yesterday but it seems like it doesn't matter how much I talk about it or to how many people... I am just too excited and need to tell more people! The selling agent reached out to Kris today (our realtor) and told her a few things about the offer we submitted.... primarily that they won't close any later than 5/15/12 (we submitted 6/15). If we were ok with this, they would begin reviewing our offer. So of course we talked it over and agreed that 5/15 is just fine :) They then called back and said that we should see a counter offer by tomorrow! I am hoping it comes back good so we can accept and move on! Can I just say that the wait is making me physically ill! I am the most anxious person ALIVE!
On top of all of this, we are trying to finalize our pre-qualification. What a joke! They are sticklers! I don't really blame them but I do blame the mortgage industry and low-quality applicants who did receive funding and defaulted! You made a mess for the rest of us to wade in! Thanks a lot! We have a meeting with the mortgage company tomorrow so hopefully we can tidy that portion of it up, get our stuff to the underwriters and call it good!
Might as well give a wedding planning update while I am on here.... The following things are done: venue, reception food, DJ/music, photographer, wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses and officiant. Still need to get a cake decorator, buy Blake's ring, pick out tuxes, wedding shoes/accessories, invitations, put together rehearsal dinner, plan bachelor(ette) party, pre-wedding party, and determine flowers/centerpieces/bouquets. I have an appointment with the florist next week, a cake tasting this Thursday, invitations meeting in June, engagements in May, groomals in August, etc. This show is so close to being on the road! Now we are getting super excited!
Thanks for reading... hope to see you at our house warming party (fingers crossed) and the wedding/reception!
OH! And the honeymoon is booked! Here we come Costa Rica!
